Robert Karraa
President
With over 20 years of experience in the property information and database industry, Robert Karraa has led the Data Tree team through continuous growth and new product innovations. Robert began his career with TRTS Data Services which was later acquired by First American. Prior to accepting his position as President of Data Tree, Robert was the Vice President of Sales and Service for First American CoreLogic. During his tenure with First American, Robert has managed all areas of the company including operations, processing, database management and sales. He also managed multiple acquisitions, customer conversion processes and the launch of international operations. Robert holds a bachelor's degree in business from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Robert is a member of the American Land Title Association and the Mortgage Bankers Association
Gwen Sorensen
Vice President of Client Services
Gwen Sorensen has over 20 years of experience in technology and computer related industries. As Vice President of Client Services, Gwen plays a key role in understanding customer needs and has a nationwide responsibility for Data Tree’s client service strategy. Sorensen’s experience and expertise has led her to take on the duty for directing the client relationship experience, leading outreach activities and positioning, user education and training, quality assurance, and leading the daily service and management of Data Tree’s diverse customer base. She joined First American Data Tree in 1993 and has held a variety of roles within the company, including Title Account Management, Marketing, and Product Management. Prior to joining Data Tree in 1993, Gwen held sales and marketing management positions at Talaris Systems and Handyman Inc.
Matt Harrick
Director of Strategic Accounts
Matt joined First American in 2008 after 12 years in mortgage lending in which he held management positions in sales, compliance and production. In his role as a Director of Strategic Accounts, Matt is responsible for managing and growing First American Data Tree's presence within top lenders and settlement service companies. This includes working with these companies to develop solutions specifically designed for their businesses leveraging Data Tree’s unique data and document image assets and technology, assisting them in reducing costs and improving efficiencies.
Andrew Thompson
Director of National Accounts
Andrew Thompson has over 15 years of experience in financial services and business process outsourcing. As Director of National Accounts, Andrew is responsible for generating new business and managing existing account relationships across multiple industry verticals including banking, legal, insurance, and government primarily through DocEdge.com and ParcelIQ.com. Prior to joining First American, he has held positions across multiple functional areas including business development, marketing, operations, and program management. Andrew is a graduate of University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a major in Advertising & Public Relations.
Amanda Price
Vice President of Marketing and Product Management
Amanda Price has over 10 years of experience in the property information and database industry. She began her career within First American Real Estate Solutions (now Core Logic) where she worked in a variety of capacities including Service, Account Management, Sales, and Sales Management. Amanda has spent the past 5 years working with First American Data Tree, also in a variety of roles including Sales, Operational Planning, and Vendor Management. She currently holds the position of Vice President of Marketing and Product Management in which Amanda is responsible for managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution. She leads and directs product launches, product positioning, market research, project requirements, and communications.
Nima Nattagh
Vice President of Research and Development
Nima has over twenty years of experience developing property valuation models, national real estate databases and Geographic Information System (GIS) products that focus on enhancing risk management practices for the mortgage and property insurance industries. He has been a consultant to Bank of America, Countrywide Home Loans and Risk Management Solutions, and also has held director-level positions at First American Real Estate Solutions, FNC, DataQuick and Lender Processing Services (LPS). Mr. Nattagh’s responsibilities involve working with multiple business units to enhance the company’s overall solution offering, which targets the lender and settlement services industries. He received his BA in Geography and Economics as well as his PhD in Geography from University of London with a focus on spatial quantitative analysis.
Shawna Rosso
Vice President of Client Facing Operations
With 15 years of experience in the title insurance industry, Shawna has developed a deep operational background, including Examination, Production Management, Sales, Vendor Management, and Product Development. Shawna has used her title experience and technical knowledge to help create successful title data products for both Old Republic Title and Nazca Solutions. As Vice President of Operations for First American Data Tree, Shawna uses her leadership and development experience to position Data Tree as a new force in real estate property data and document imagery. Shawna has a diverse educational background majoring in MIS and business management at University of Phoenix.
Adam Castillo
Vice President of Operations
With more than 25 years of experience within the First American family of companies, Adam has had broad experience in many different leadership functions including branch operations, regional operations, international management, sales, product solutions and database development. As Vice President of Operations, Adam is responsible for the creation of value-added data for inclusion into Data Tree’s real estate information databases and leads the geographic expansion efforts of the company’s data services. Adam majored in business management from the University of Phoenix.
Fran Stevens
Vice President of Database Services Expansion
Fran Stevens began her career with First American 19 years ago, and has served in Information Technology and Project Management related positions. Fran started with Data Tree in 2004, and currently holds the position of Vice President of Database Services Expansion. In this role, she manages the lifecycle of geographic expansion which includes extensive market research, identification of data source and working with the local county recorder and assessor offices for the acquisition thereof, and working with our IT staff to load the data and normalize it in our database for easy delivery through our products, DocEdge.com, XOS and Parcel IQ. Fran holds a bachelors degree in Business Management from Pepperdine University, and an MBA from Loyola Marymount University, where she specialized in International Business and Management Information Systems.
Mark Werner
Division Information Officer
With over 25 years of product development experience, Mark Werner possesses broad engineering and software development experience in the areas of enterprise systems, distributed object systems, scalable architectures, and relational databases. Since joining Data Tree in 1999, Mark has directed the development of the world's largest property image database consisting of over 4 billion images and delivering more than 2 million images per day to end users. Prior to joining Data Tree, he worked for Control Systems Analysis specializing in the development and analysis of complex control systems. Mark holds several software patents in the data analysis and data acquisition field. He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Northeastern University.
